Ages (as of Jan. 1, 2026): 5 - 6

• Practices and games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
• Base paths are set at 50 feet and pitching machines throw from 36 feet.
• Games are 3 innings in length.
• 7U division is designed to get young people interested in the game of baseball by the active participation of all players.
• The ball is hit from a batting tee and a soft version of a baseball is used.
• Our plan is to increase our technical development program at this level and add extra sessions for our 7U players born in 2019 to pitching machines and basic pitching technique.
• The emphasis is on the 5 FUNdamentals of baseball

• Each player will be supplied with a baseball hat and jersey
• Bat Requirements: 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop – bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB or stamped with BPF 1.15” (Bat Performance Factor)
• Wood, bamboo, and wood composite bats are permitted in all divisions. Wood composite bats include wood bats with fiberglass sheathing and wood-barreled bats with composite handles.
• Each team equipment bag will be supplied with baseball bats.
