CALLING ALL COACHES....
We cannot have a successful baseball program without the help of parent coaches. Coaching is an amazing way to stay involved with the sport, participate with your child and support your local community.
Our organization is happy to support our parents by providing coaching clinics. Most are held in the spring, however, you can get started today by signing up in the NCCP program.

National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)
The NCCP is a National Coaching Certification Program in Canada covering more than 60 sports. This program offers coaching resources and opportunities for online modules and certification, and membership also provides access to bettercoaches.com which provides great lesson plans, drills and instructional videos to help you organize practices.
We hope that you consider signing up for either the coaching conference or joining the NCCP program or even both. Howe Sound Minor Baseball is willing to sponsor the costs, please reach out with receipts for reimbursement.
How To Register for The NCCP Program
If you would like to simply access some e-modules and gain access to all of the resources at bettercoaches.com you will need to register with NCCP. If you coach other sports and already have your NCCP account you may get to skip this step.
Registering is $37.45, you receive access to bettercoaches.com and have to the Baseball Canada Training Modules. Several are free. If you want to go further and be certified in the Coach Initiation & Absolutes Program you can get half-price by signing up for the Coaches Conference below.
Signing Up For Coaching Conference And NCCP Discount
To sign up for the coaching conference and access to the upcoming NCCP clinics at a discounted rate please use this link: https://www.bcminorbaseball.org/coaching
Click "Register for BCMBA Coaches Conference" Complete the registration process and use Sunshine Coast Baseballs direct billing code.
Contact us for the SCBA promo code for payment.
Once registered for the conference, you will receive a downloadable receipt, you click your digital product link and it takes you back to the original BC Minor Baseball Page, Click Coaching Development, then click the image on the right of a "flyer" this will take you to Sports Engine. Now you need your NCCP number and can then access and register for the discounted NCCP clinics.
Please keep any receipts so we can reimburse you. Our association really wants our parents to have access to coaching resources and we want to sponsor you so please consider taking this opportunity.
